During a street photography outing, I discovered and then developed a deep passion for photographing skateboarding, with its blend of raw expression, disciplined practice and striking visual movement. It embraces resilience, creative freedom, and the reinterpretation of urban landscapes as playgrounds rather than strict functional spaces. It acts as a form of meditation, focusing on present-moment awareness, overcoming fear, and finding balance through trial-and-error. In this page you will also find a selection of my series produced in collaboration with Scholleresch — the skate school in Luxembourg. I document both the energy of experienced riders and the enthusiasm and progress of younger students.
