Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By hiring Chiara Ulzega for photography services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Booking and payment

  • A non-refundable advance of 20% of the total fees is required to secure your booking.
  • The remaining balance is due on delivery of the images.

3. Cancellation policy

  • In the event of cancellation less than 24 hours before the scheduled event/session, the 20% advance payment will not be reimbursed.
  • If cancellation occurs more than 24 hours in advance, the advance payment may be applied to a future booking or refunded at my discretion.

4. Delivery of Photos

  • The final edited photographs will be digitally delivered within 7 working days of the photography service.
  • Shorter deadlines for delivery can be agreed upon for an additional fee.

5. Usage rights

  • By hiring me, you grant me the right to use the photographs for publication purposes, both digitally and in print. This includes, but is not limited to, portfolio displays, social media, and promotional materials.

6. Copyright

  • As per EU copyright law, I retain ownership of all rights to the photographs taken. This includes the right to reproduce, distribute, and display the images.
  • To respect copyright, it is strictly forbidden to:
    • Modify the images (filters, cropping, color adjustments, retouching, etc.)
    • Distribute or share the images with third parties without prior written consent
  • If you have any questions or specific requests, feel free to contact me directly.

7. GDPR compliance

  • Data Collection: I collect personal data (e.g., names, contact details) necessary for providing my services. This data will only be used for the purposes of communication and fulfilling the contract.
  • Consent: by hiring me, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as outlined in this agreement.
  • Data Rights: you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data at any time. If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact me.
  • Data Security: I implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and breaches.
  • Retention: your personal data will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

8. Liability

  • I am not liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of my services. Clients are responsible for ensuring that all necessary permissions are obtained for the event.

9. Governing Law

  • These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the EU and Luxembourg.

By proceeding with the booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the conditions outlined above, including GDPR compliance measures.
