April 14, 2026– Rockhal Club, Luxembourg

On April 14th, Nek (stage name for Filippo Neviani) delivered an energetic, career-spanning performance at Rockhal Club in Luxembourg as part of his European tour, delivering a  true masterclass in Italian pop-rock and genuine human connection.

The stage came alive with aa power trio featuring Emiliano Fantuzzi on guitar, Luciano Galloni on drums and the artist himself who  played bass and even the harmonica on “Cuori in tempesta”. It was a stripped-back performance that let the music speak for itself.

From the first chord, the authenticity everyone talks about was front and center. The show was a non-stop journey through his career, featuring an electrifying selection of hits. The room was buzzing from start to finish and the connection between Nek and the fans was undeniable.

A standout moment occurred during “Se io non avessi te”, when the venue was transformed into a sea of stars as the audience lit up their phones, waving them in unison to the melody, capturing the intimacy and shared emotion of the night. However, the true peak came during the 1997 hit “Laura non c’è” with the entire audience joining in for a massive sing-along; it was a powerful reminder of how these songs have become part of the collective memory for so many.

I had the unique opportunity of going behind the scenes and meeting the artist and his team, and getting to capture some candid snaps backstage which stripped away the rockstar veneer: Filippo is remarkably down-to-earth, professional, focused, and has a truly kind heart that radiates the moment you speak with him. That warmth trickles down to his lovely team, who treated everyone like family.

It’s easy to see why he has sold over 10 million albums worldwide. Since his 1992 debut with his eponymous album Nek, he has remained one of the most prominent male voices in Italian music. Tonight’s performance at the Rockhal proved that his 30-year legacy is as vibrant as ever.
